A small village with few inhabitants, although they are all quite friendly. A gym rests in the exact center, run by Luna, a Psychic Pokemon user.

This route is home to several Electric type Pokemon, due to the nearby electrical plant. Although it's abandoned, it's still capable of producing massive amounts of electricity, which the Pokemon feed off of.

Everyone's a pyromaniac.
No, seriously, this town is teeming with pyrotechnicians, fire dancers, and people who even try to predict the future by looking in ashes from a certain burned object. There's one "ash reader" in particular who always seems to give uncannily accurate predictions. Madame Flamma. Her stall is a bit... eccentric. And her prices are fairly questionable. But everything she sees in the ashes seems to come true. Maybe you should pay her a visit while you're here...
This town is also home to Kaen, the second gym leader of Caliga, who uses Fire type Pokemon, and the first Pokemon Contest. Come here to win a fiery red ribbon!

Whew... Finally far enough away from the volcano to be safe if it erupts.
Except now you're in a flood zone. The river that runs along this path overflows whenever it rains, and it rains pretty often around here. I hope you chose a Water type as your starter!

Finally, some safe, dry land!! Bet you're glad. This town is home to many rugged trainers, toughened at the nearby indoor training ground/Pokemon Gym. The owner is Grant, a man in his thirties but still going strong. He uses Rock and Ground type Pokemon.

| Bralence Town (1 sub-board)
Ah, time to take a trip to a normal town! This town is home to the Safari Zone of Caliga. Bralence Town is a rather normal town. Not too many weirdos around here. Well... There are some... They call themselves the BTT. What does that stand for? Bralence Top Trainers, of course! Guess who these weirdos are? These wacky yahoos are the gym leader! When you walk into the gym, you may be challenged by some Normal type trainers. Wondering how you’re supposed to battle the gym leader, or leaders I should say? Don’t worry; you fight them one at a time. They each use two Pokemon each, so you only get to use two Pokemon against each of them, so hope you have six Pokemon with you. Guess what? They use Normal types, what a surprise. Nothing too special about this place, except that Safari Zone. There is a small fountain near the part of town you’ll probably enter from. Throw in a coin, and make a wish! Well, your wish doesn’t always come true, but if you get lucky, it just might.

| Route Seven (1 sub-board)
Oh, dear.
There's a seismic research facility here... That can't be a good sign.
In fact, it isn't. This spot is known for the most earthquakes throughout the entire Caliga Region. The only way that you wouldn't feel any tremors at all here, is if you were riding a Flying type Pokemon, and even then you can still feel the faint vibrations in the air.

| Maris City
A large city with a huge fountain in the center and a big harbor. The fountain is almost like a pond too. The more attractive part of the fountain is on the surface, and the other part is deeper into the ground. It’s rumored that the underground part contains some Pokemon. But like I said, it’s just a rumor.
Maris City has a mall that sells, well, everything! Bags, Pokeballs, fishing supplies, books, and some hats. The Pokemon Center is close to the mall, and is almost always busy.
Marlin is the gym leader here, a user of Water type Pokemon.

| Jerry's Ferry
Yay for free boat rides!
The only passport you need to present to good ol' Captain Jerry is a Shell Badge or a Maris Ribbon, and he'll take you right over to Kareso Town!
Various Pokemon tend to follow the ferry, so you could even get some training in, or catch a nice Water or Flying Pokemon to Surf or Fly on if the need should arise in your travels.

| Kareso Town
Jerry's Ferry destination. Kareso Town is pretty normal, and is the only town in Caliga without a Gym. It does, however, have a Pokemon Contest. You can compete to win a Kareso Bejeweled Ribbon. This beautiful prize has an opal in the center of the metal clasp that keeps the ribbon in a neat design. The ribbon itself is a lovely fuchsia.

| Route Eight/Sanctuary Lake
Route Eight, and the legendary Sanctuary Lake. It's said that, deep in this lake, there's an underwater cave that leads to a beautiful underground lake. Yes, a lake in a lake is very strange, but this lake is unique. This is the true Sanctuary Lake, the lake above is just an ordinary body of water. Sanctuary Lake is home to several powerful and beautiful Water Pokemon, and almost all of them are shinies. The lake water is so pure your Pokemon could drink it and immediately be healed to full strength, and you'd feel pretty peppy if you drank it, too.
A gang of Gyarados guards the entrance to the underwater cavern, however, so few humans have actually gotten to the lake.

| Rose Village
Rose Village is a quiet, quaint little town. There's a small group of girls each around 8 or 9 years old who call themselves the Roselia Rosettes. They help out around town with the help of their Roselias. The leader, Rosalynd, is also the Gym leader, and a user of Grass type Pokemon.
There's a Contest in this town. Compete for a leafy green ribbon!

| Route Nine
A lush forest surrounds this route, and you'll find quite a few Grass and Bug type Pokemon here. They're usually very friendly unless you frighten them.

| Thunder City
Thunder City certainly lives up to its name, it's almost always storming around here. It's very dangerous to go outside during the storms, so there are passageways built connecting all the buildings. The one who first thought of this was Layla, the Gym leader. She uses Electric type Pokemon.
There's also a Pokemon Contest in this town. Compete for an electric yellow ribbon!

| Route Ten
The storms from Thunder City follow you a bit here, although there's not as much lightning, so it's safer to go through. There are lots of Electric Pokemon here, and you might even find a Pikachu.

| Faleden Town (2 sub-boards)
Faleden Town's Gym leader, Kaleen, uses Dark Types, and is a devilish woman rumored to literally steal men's hearts. The gym is close to the edge of town. At night, Faleden Town can get a bit scary. Some say ghosts haunt the town at night, and they might. Dark types or other Pokemon you might find in an urban area, are sometimes found in some of the dark alleys of the town. The Pokemon Center is kind of run down too. This town is VERY creepy. A haunted house lies beside the gym, and ghost Pokemon are found in there all the time. Some say that the gym leader lives in that house, but that isn’t true, right? Sorry to those who hate ghosts, but if you go in there, you're gonna be really scared.
This town is home to an odd looking lab in which no one but employees are allowed. They don't even allow tours. I wonder what could go on in there...? The lab is owned by a rich young man by the name of Lucifer, and he directs what goes on in the lab.
Right next to it is a peppy-looking white building with "Team Pacis HQ" on it in big neon blue letters.

The first one you'll face in the Elite Four, Lacy is a user of Dragon type Pokemon, and it's rumored that she's so good a trainer that she even caught a Legendary.

Missy uses Psychic types and prefers to be silent, so she makes hand gestures to her Pokemon to tell them what moves to use.

Brince is a user of Ice type Pokemon, and he's as cold as they are. To make his Pokemon attack, he'll just say the name of the attack, and nothing more.

The last of the Elite Four before the Champion, Jakuro has never once lost a battle in his career as one of the Elite Four. He uses powerful Ghost type Pokemon, rumored to be over level 100. Better start training, then, huh?
